실리콘 위에서 빛을 다루는 소자를 설계하고 제작합니다. 서로 다른 파장의 빛을 하나의 경로로 전송하는 고밀도 파장분할다중화(DWDM) 소자를 설계하고, 이를 구현하는 제작 공정을 개발합니다. 제작한 소자가 시스템 안에서 정상 동작하는지 검증하는 광학 측정도 함께 수행합니다. 새로 시작하는 분야로, 아직 공개할 결과는 없습니다.We design and fabricate devices that handle light on silicon. The work centres on dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM) — sending many wavelengths down one path — from the design of the devices through the process that makes them, and on the optical measurements that show whether they hold up inside a working system. This strand is just beginning, so there are no results to show yet.
